 Our agency has texting capabilities for our helpline phone. We are a dual agency and would be able to serve teens regarding dating abuse. Our helpline phone # is 920-837-2424 or 1877-847-3223 and they can call or text 24/7. They are able to just text the number and whatever message they want to include. There is no need to text a prompt. We service the Kewaunee County area.

Hi everyone,

I’m assembling a directory of dating abuse texting helplines operating in the state for teens to use. If your program has one, or if you know of any, please let me know! Be sure to include how to access the line (i.e., Can I just text a phone number? Or do I text something like “Help” to the number?) and when the line is in use (i.e., If I text it, will I get a reply 24/7? Or 9-5 Mon-Fri?)

So far I know of one at DAIS (brand new!), one at Advocates of Ozaukee, and I have heard unconfirmed rumors of one at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center. (Is there someone on this list from the LGBT CC that can confirm or deny those rumors?)

I’m including national ones as well; I’ve got a few but if you want to share one with me feel free!
