Hello Everyone,

PLEASE NOTE:

I have made some changes to the Children & Youth Conference Call (CYCC) scheduling. Starting in January 2019 the CYCCs will be on the SECOND TUESDAY of every month from 9:00am to 10:00am. If this scheduling change becomes a barrier for Children & Youth Advocates to join the call, then I will look into revising the scheduling plan. I will send a save the date with information at the beginning of the month and a day of reminder.

I will also be using Zoom for these calls. Zoom is an online video chat that offers call in options as well. Make sure that you test the link below to make sure that your device is compatible and has the software. You WILL NOT need to create your own account to join the call. Please let me know if you have ANY questions about using Zoom.

 As always, if there is a topic you'd particularly like to discuss, get in touch with me ahead of time and I'll make sure that we cover it during a call. These calls are particularly good opportunities for new CY advocates to meet staff from other Wisconsin DV programs, gain resources, and discuss their jobs.

 End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin hosts these children and youth program conference calls about once a month. They are an opportunity for any advocate who works with children, youth, teens or parents to connect with other advocates and End Abuse staff and discuss our work. Here are some details:

  *   While the topic of these calls is advocacy with children, youth, teens, and parents, they are open to any staff in a Wisconsin domestic abuse program.
  *   Calls are facilitated by Cody Warner, End Abuse Children & Youth Prevention & Outreach Coordinator.
  *   The calls are free.

  *   We love it when advocates call us, but advanced registration is not required.
