Here is the email for the trauma list serve. There is more information
here than you need about trauma and resilience that Scott Webb sends out
about once a week.

Waupaca is a small community, but they are really kind of far along the
path to becoming a trauma informed community. Their human services
department could be helpful for information. Also, St. A's in Milwaukee is
a great resource.

One of the reasons we wanted to become trauma informed is so that we knew
when we bring people to another agency, they will understand and be
supportive in the same way we try to be. We believe it will help with
child abuse and neglect prevention and understanding trauma in adults and
therefore make our community more resilient. One of the ultimate goals
after helpign professionals become trauma informed is to train businesses.
This will help employers be more supportive when employees have trauma
reactions.
