Hello Everyone the 2017 Mental Health & Substance Use Recovery Conference is looking for workshop proposals. I was talking with one of the coordinators this past week and they told me that they think it would be awesome for providers to learn more about teen dating violence and how they can begin conversations and promote awareness with the young people they support.  The proposals are due next week Friday, February 17th! More information below.

Call for Session Proposals

As a reminder, the deadline to submit a proposal for the 2017 MHSUR Conference scheduled for October 24-25, 2017 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin is Friday, February 17. You can submit your proposal here:

The committee seeks proposals that demonstrate evidence-based and best practices, promote strength-based approaches, include the voice of lived experience, address diverse populations, enhance skills, support recovery, and energize participants.

The committee will review all proposals starting in late February.  All submissions will be notified of their status via email no later than May 31, 2017.
